There are some types of work where we feel we particularly come into our own – not that we take other work lightly. Maybe we are just more suited to research and investigation.

We have carried out due diligence work of the type which is usually seen as the sole domain of the very largest accountancy firms – we are happy with most small to medium acquisition and merger work up to around £50 m.

We also carry out business valuations or part-share valuations, whether for tax reasons, dispute-resolution purposes or potential purchase/sale cases in part or as a whole.

Financial investigations, obviously of the legal variety, are also sometimes necessary, whether that of a competitor or a potential business partner.
